FAKE CASH: More Cases Pop Up

More counterfeit money is turning up at businesses in the Des Moines metro.

Police say they’re looking into two additional cases this week.

On Monday, a college student sold a digital device to someone who gave him two counterfeit $20 bills. Then, on Tuesday a cashier at an auto parts store accepted a counterfeit $10.

The latest cases come on the heels of several others earlier this month.
