Early results from the Iowa Lottery show more than 114,000 tickets won a prize, however, none of those were the $579.9 million Powerball Jackpot.

Lottery officials say two ticket holders will split the record setting prize money.

One was sold in Missouri, and the other in Arizona.

The 114,000 winners from Iowa will collect smaller prizes ranging from $4 to $40,000.

Iowan spent more than $7.7 million on Powerball tickets for the drawing. Nearly $4.9 million was spent on Wednesday alone.

The average amount spent on tickets was $6, which gets 3 plays.

Tickets were selling at $11,000 per minute in Iowa.
