None of the jackpot-winning tickets in Wednesday night’s record Powerball drawing were sold in Iowa, but some Iowans will still be collecting sizable checks from the lottery.

The two tickets that matched all six numbers in the drawing were sold in Missouri and Arizona. The winners will split a jackpot of $587.5 million.

The Iowa Lottery says seven tickets matched four of the first five numbers in the drawing but didn’t hit the Powerball. Four of those tickets are worth $10,000 and three are worth $40,000 because a PowerPlay option was added.

The four $10,000 winning tickets were sold at:

No Fills Supermarket – Council Bluffs

Casey’s General Store – 2007 N. 15th St., Fort Dodge

Graettinger Country Store – Graettinger

Fairbank Food Center – Fairbank

The three tickets worth $40,000 were sold at:

Lund’s 66 – Bettendorf

Casey’s General Store – Alden

Casey’s General Store – 206 S. First St., Grimes

The Iowa Lottery says more than $7.7 million in Powerball tickets were sold in Iowa for Wednesday night’s drawing.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 5-16-22-23-29 and the Powerball was 6.
