TEE TIME: Area Courses Close

Golfers took their final swings of the season on two of Des Moines’ public courses Monday.

Despite unseasonably warm weather, Blank and Waveland Golf Courses closed for the season.

Golfers can still tee off at Grandview, the course will stay open throughout the year as long as the weather allows. Grandview’s management says as long as the temperatures stay above 40 degrees the course will be open.
