TUITION FREEZE: Regents To Vote
The Iowa Board of Regents will make the final decision on a possible tuition freeze Wednesday.
At their afternoon meeting the Regents will approve or deny a freeze in-state tuition for undergraduate students. Out-of-state undergrad students and graduate students aren’t included in the current plan.
For the proposal to work the Iowa legislature would need to approve a nearly 3-percent funding increase.
