KETTLE CAMPAIGN: Salvation Army Donations

Iowans are reaching out to people in need this holiday.

The Des Moines Salvation Army is more than a third of the way towards its $1.2 million goal. The Red Kettle Campaign has raised $406,723 so far.

That includes online, mail, telephone, and red kettle donations.

The total so far for donations is 16-percent ahead of last year’s pace.

The red kettles are out until Christmas Eve, but donations will be taken through January.
