DEADLY ACCIDENT: Man Killed On The Job

An Omaha man was reportedly killed in an accident at a Newton business.

The Newton Daily News reports James Harder was killed when he was pinned between two semi-trailers at Jacobson Warehousing on Tuesday.

Police say Thomas Richtsmeier was backing up his truck and trailer and didn’t see Harder or the other trailer.

Cynthia Avitt of Grinnell was also injured in the accident.

No charges have been filed.
