Eastern Iowa authorities are investigating three deaths this weekend.

Authorities say they found two bodies in Linn County.

They’re also looking into another death in Davenport.

Cedar Rapids police were called to a dispute with a gun at a home around 11 p.m. Friday night. They found 68-year-old Anita Labkon dead.

Authorities took the woman’s son, 44-year-old Edward Cusic, pictured, into custody.  He’s charged with first degree murder.

They haven’t said why they think he killed his mother.

Around 8.30 a.m. this morning, hunters in Linn County discovered the body of a middle aged white man under a bridge.

The sheriff’s department says the death is considered suspicious.

Crews took the body to the state medical examiner’s office in Ankeny for an autopsy.

In Davenport, authorities are awaiting autopsy results of a body found around 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Scott County officials say someone noticed something suspicious in a field entrance and called authorities.

They found the body of a man with visible signs of injury.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
