GAS PRICES: Down 46 Cents

Pulling up to the pump is getting a little less painful.

The average price for a gallon of gas has dropped about 46 cents over the past two months, according to the Lundberg survey.

The national average price of a gallon of regular gas is $3.35.

Iowa is doing better than the national average with a gallon of gas going for $3.24. 

The metro average is 4 pennies lower. That’s 2 cents lower than a year ago.
