A northeast Iowa park is back open this weekend after a hunter discovered two missing Iowa cousins in the woods.

Last Wednesday, a man was hunting at Seven Bridges Park in Bremer County when he discovered the remains.

Authorities have yet to officially confirm the identities but they say they’re confident they’re missing cousins Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook.

Investigators shut down the park to do a thorough analysis of the crime scene.

The Black Hawk County sheriff’s department says it’s completed its investigation at the park so the park is back open to the public.
