AGRIBUSINESS: Crop Protection Products Bring Strong Value to Agriculture

A recent report: The Contribution of Crop protection Products to the United States Economy shows the value of crop protection products to the agricultural economy to be $51.4 billion dollars nationwide. 

The increase in the value of farmers crops has a spinoff value of $166.5 billion. 

Iowa is one the top eight states to benefit with $14 billion in total crop production according to the USDA and a direct economic impact over $3.3 billion from the incremental increase in crop values.

The report was published by Crop Life America. CLA is a well known association that is the legislative and promotional arm of the crop protection industry in the United States.
