PRISON TERM: Former Officer Sentenced

Former Forest City police officer Thaddeus Ellenbecker was sentenced Tuesday on convictions for arson and burglary.

Ellenbecker will spend up to 10 years in prison for starting a fire at the Forest City police station and stealing a rifle from a squad car. During the investigation into the incidents Ellenbecker was shot during a struggle with DCI agents.

Ellenbecker was convicted of 2nd degree arson and 2nd degree burglary by a judge.
