The White House is well-known for going all-out with Christmas decorations every year, but this year an Iowa woman got to lend her decorating expertise.

With 54 holiday trees in the White House, there was plenty of decorating duty.

Carol Leavy, from Clinton, was chosen to be on the design team to help decorate for the public Christmas tours.

“Joy to All” is the theme of the decor throughout the house this year.

Carol spent five days with the team decorating the various themed trees.
