SCHOOL SHOOTING: Local Parents React

Friday’s events shook parents at their core… and led to some mixed emotions.

At Des Moines’ Greenwood Elementary School, parents were thankful to be picking up their kids.

At the same time, they are grieving for victims in Connecticut and for the parents who will never pick their child up from school again.
