BALDI TRIAL: Judge Needs More Specifics
A Polk County Judge says prosecutors need to offer more specifics to back up their allegations against a Des Moines pain doctor.
Doctor Daniel Baldi is charged with ten counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors say he recklessly over-prescribed pain killers to ten patients, which contributed to their deaths.
A judge says prosecutors have failed to identify the specific acts of recklessness, so they now have 30-days to make their case.
Baldi has pleaded not guilty to the charges and maintains he did his best to treat his patients.
