NEWTOWN SHOOTING: National Moment Of Silence
Across the nation people are looking for ways to honor those who lost their lives in the Connecticut shooting.
Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. will mark one week since the tragic incident, and Governor Branstad is calling on all Iowans to take part in a moment of silence to remember the 26 victims.
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy has asked all governors to take part.
Malloy issued a proclamation designating December 21st as a day of mourning for the victims of the school shooting.
