CONFERENCE PLAY: Bulldogs Ready To Begin

The conference basketball season begins on Saturday, with Drake as the first of the big four teams to hit the court.

The Bulldogs are hoping for a fresh start in the Valley, at 6-5 they have the second worst record in the conference entering the MVC season.

Missouri State is bringing up the rear at 2-10.

Drake heads to Peoria to tips things off with the 8-4 Bradley Braves.

Bradley has already surpassed its win total from a year ago and the braves will pose a tough challenge for a Drake team that’s just one game over .500
