Though a growing number of Iowa fans no longer want him, an NFL general manager still does.
Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli is reportedly courting Kirk Ferentz — again.
Ferentz, coming off a 4-8 season at Iowa, is reportedly at the top of Pioli’s wish-list for the likely opening in Kansas City. That’s according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.
However, Pioli himself may not even keep his job. The chiefs went 2-15 with the worst record in the NFL this season.
Leave it to Kirk Ferentz to turn a terrible season into another great opportunity.
