CRASH SURVIVOR: Passenger Passes Away After Battling Injuries

After surviving a plane crash and living for more than a month, a passenger’s injuries proved to be too much.

Pilot Bill Konicek was flying near Clutier in late November when he hit power lines sending his plane into the ground. Konicek died on the scene.
His passenger, Max Morrison survived the crash and was receiving treatment at an Iowa City Hospital, where he died on Monday.
A benefit will be held February 16^th to help his family with expenses.
