NEW SCHOOL: Downtown Des Moines Welcomes University

A new University will call Des Moines home. The University of Phoenix is opening a branch in downtown Des Moines on Thursday.

The campus will be located in the Bank of America Building on 6th Avenue.  It has three classrooms, and a student resource center with computers and printers.

Governor Branstad will help cut the ribbon at a ceremony to officially welcome the school to Des Moines.
University of Phoenix has more than 200 locations nationwide, and they offer degree programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate levels.
