GREATER VISIBILITY: Troopers Change Unmarked Cars

Iowa drivers will start to notice more police cruisers on the road, but the state is not adding more troopers, just changing unmarked cars to marked cruisers.

They say their goal is to make police presence on Iowa roads more visible. They are adding emergency lights and other identification to about 35 of their unmarked cars.

There will still be a presence of undercover troopers on the roads, only about half the fleet is being changed over.
