Pleasant Hill Police are looking for a man they say robbed a convenience store at knifepoint.

Police were called to the Kum & Go at 5970 Morningstar Court just after 2:00 Wednesday morning.

Sergeant Paul Brown, with the Pleasant Hill Police Department, says the man came into the store and showed the clerk a knife and demanded money. “The clerk gave him money and the suspect took off in a black sedan.”

Sergeant Brown says the suspect is a white male and was alone.

There was only one clerk working at the store at the time of the robbery.  The clerk was not injured.

After getting money, Brown says the suspect left eastbound on University.
Police are reviewing the store’s security video and hope to identify the suspect from that.

The amount of money the man took is not known.
