A meeting is being held Wednesday night to gather input on a proposed streetscape project along 42nd Street in Des Moines.
The improvements would be in the Roosevelt Cultural District, from Interstate 235 to Crocker Street, along 42nd.
The city and neighborhood want to make the area more pedestrian and bike friendly, improve traffic flow, create transit opportunities, and start beautification projects.
Wednesday night’s meeting is to get ideas from the community on what they want to see before the start of the conceptual design.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. at Roosevelt High School.
