Former developer John Kline is scheduled for a change of plea hearing Friday morning.

Kline is charged with bank fraud from business transactions between 2004 and 2006.

Kline and Randy Walters were former partners in Oaks Development Company. They are accused of diverting funds from two development projects for other uses, resulting in losses of nearly $4 million on the projects.

Kline’s plea change is set for 11:00 a.m. at the federal courthouse in Des Moines.

Walters entered a guilty plea to charges last September. He’s scheduled to be sentenced on February 6th.
