A Des Moines man has been arrested in connection with a report of shots fired at a house.

Police were called to a home in the 3400 Block of Northeast 44th Avenue just after midnight on January 1. A person inside the home told police she had heard loud noises outside of her home and asked them to look around.

After gathering evidence and conducting interviews, Polk County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested 46-year-old Frank Lee Lilly.

He was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon. Lilly later posted bond and was released.
