With the 85th General Assembly beginning Monday,  there’s still another seat to fill in the House and next week northern Iowa voters will head to the polls to pick their representative.

Next Tuesday, voters in District 52 will chose between three candidates; Republican Dennis Litterer, Democrat Todd Prichard and a non-party affiliated candidate, Craig Clark.

The winner replaces Brian Quirk who quit the legislature for another job after voters re-elected him.

The House and Senate will gavel in a 110 day session at 10.00 Monday morning.
