A Swisher man wanted for allegedly causing serious injuries to an infant has been taken into custody.

Twenty-five-year-old Michael Blair is charged with multiple acts of child endangerment. He is accused of causing a skull fracture to a two-month-old girl.

Ottumwa police say the investigation began when the infant was taken to the Ottumwa Regional Health Center on December 7th. The child is now doing well physically but the impact the injuries will have on her later in life is unknown.

Blair was taken into custody early Saturday morning in Lynn County. He is being transported to the Wapello County Jail Monday.
