SUSPICIOUS DEATH: Woman’s Body Found

Des Moines police are investigating a death in the Drake neighborhood they say is suspicious in nature.

Police were called to 1050 21^st Street unit #4 around 9:00 Monday morning. When they arrived they found the body of a deceased female. Her cause of death hasn’t been determined yet but police say there was trauma to her body.

The name of the victim is not being released yet in order for authorities to notify relatives.
