A clerk at a local fast-food restaurant was held up at gunpoint.

Police were called to Chester’s Chicken on University Avenue around 3:30 p.m.

They say the suspect rode up to the restaurant on a bicycle, and at the same time a car pulled in.

While the vehicle waited in the parking lot, the suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

The employee handed over about $300.

The suspect left his bike at the scene and took off with the car waiting outside.

The clerk describes the robber as a black male, wearing a fur-lined hooded coat and a green apron.
