FONG’S PIZZA: Re-Opening Delayed

A Des Moines restaurant closed for the past two months will have to delay its re-grand opening and miss an important milestone

Fong’s Pizza closed in November after a water main break flooded the basement. 

The restaurant’s owners hoped to have repairs complete and re-open this Saturday on Fong’s fourth anniversary. 

Due to a delay in shipping new booths, they  won’t make it in time.

The owners hope to reopen on the 29th.

Since being closed, Fong’s says it’s lost more than $300,000 in sales.
