PUPPY BOWL: Iowa Pooch On The Roster

Super Bowl Sunday is just around the corner, but some fans will be glued to their TV for another sporting event, the Puppy Bowl.

The line-up was announced Wednesday and one of the players is from Iowa.

An Urbandale couple adopted Trinka from a shelter in Adel. The schnauzer-beagle mix is 10-weeks-old, and according to her player profile she loves sleeping in hotel room beds.

This is the 8^th year Animal Planet has chosen 30 pups to battle it out on a miniature gridiron. The Bowl airs at 2 p.m. on February 3.
