Pork producers are meeting for a second day, talking about the latest in the industry and how they made it through a rough year.

The 41st annual Iowa Pork Congress is meeting at Hy-Vee Hall in downtown Des Moines.

More than 5,000 people are expected to attend the trade show, check out the latest products and take part in educational seminars.

It’s also gives pork producers the opportunity to reflect on how they made it through this year’s drought.

The show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
