Rep. Braley (D) already has his name on the ballot

Iowa Congressman Bruce Braley is requesting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton release classified footage of the attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others were killed in the September incident.

In December, members of congress were shown a video of real time footage of the attack. Braley says the administration should declassify as much of that video as possible, so that Americans can see for themselves what happened.

“I think the American people would have a much better understanding of how the events unfolded if they saw the real time video that I and other members of congress saw,” he said.

At first, the Obama Administration said the attack was sparked by anger over an Anti-Islam video posted online, but we now know it was a coordinated terrorist attack.
