INFLUENZA REPORT: Flu Cases Leveling Off
The latest reports show confirmed cases of the flu are decreasing, but that doesn’t mean the bug is going anywhere anytime soon.

Twenty-four Iowa schools say they are seeing over 10 percent of students absent due to the flu, that’s up from just five schools the week before.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that flu activity remains widespread across the entire country, but signs of the flu season are leveling off.
Authorities say those 65 and older are still in the greatest danger.
Health officials say it’s not too late to get vaccinated the flu season usually lasts until March or April.
