CANCER RALLY: NFL Player Helps In Fight

Saturday night, a former NFL linebacker is in the metro to help in the fight against cancer.

Chris Draft will speak at Saturday’s Rally Against Cancer. 

Draft will share his wife’s story of her battle against lung cancer.  The player founded the Chris Draft Family Foundation in 2006.

The event at Hy-Vee Conference Center kicked off at 6 p.m. 

The event will raise money for the care coordinator program At John Stoddard Cancer Center in Des Moines.
