POSTAGE INCREASE: Stamping Out Losses

After the recent introduction of credit cards fees on purchases, you’ll also have to pay slightly more for postage. This move comes after USPS reported losses in the billions.

The price of a first class stamp went up a penny Sunday to 46-cents.

Higher prices don’t just apply to letters. Postcards now cost 33-cents to mail. They were previously 32-cents.

And the cost of priority mail is going up, but in exchange the postal service is now offering free tracking.

If you already bought some of the forever stamps at a lower price, those are still valid.
