The dense fog will continue tonight through the evening. An advisory for the fog is in place until 9PM. Take extra time for travel and use the low beams on your vehicle. Roads will not be slick as temperatures start to rise overnight. Yes…overnight. It will be warmer tomorrow morning than tomorrow afternoon.
Highs will top out around 48 with a strong southwest wind.
The warm front tonight has a cold front attached tomorrow. It will swing the wind to the northwest and snap our temperatures with gusts over 25 mph tomorrow night.
The change between the warm and cold air could kick up some strong thunderstorms tomorrow evening in southeast Iowa. At the same time…it will be snowing in northwest counties.
After that…arctic air is back. Highs Wednesday and Thursday will struggle to make it out of the teens.
