DEATH INVESTIGATION: DCI Looks Into Toddlers Death

The DCI is investigating the death of a western Iowa toddler.

Paramedics were called to a home in Pacific Junction on Friday morning on a report of an unresponsive 13-month-old child.

The child was taken to an Omaha hospital with extensive injuries and passed away the next day.

The DCI isn’t releasing the child’s name or age.
