GIRLS BASKETBALL: East vs Dowling Showdown

It was a public school against private school showdown between two of the best teams in the state Tuesday night.

Des Moines East ranked #5 traveled to #2 ranked Dowling Catholic.

The Scarlets got out quickly, and the Maroons faced an uphill battle all night.

Ending with a big road win for East, 62-52 over Dowling.
