A Des Moines man is behind bars nearly five-months after allegedly shooting a convenience store clerk.

Eighteen-year-old Clifford Jackson was arrested Tuesday and booked on charges of attempted murder and robbery.

West Des Moines police say Jackson shot 34-year-old Josh Pugh outside a Kum and Go last September.

Pugh survived the shooting.
