YMCA POOL: Prairie Meadows Makes Splash

Prairie Meadows hopes to make a splash at Des Moines’ new downtown YMCA.

Friday, casino leaders announced they will pay a million dollars for the naming rights to the pool at “Y.”

It will be built where the Polk County Convention complex currently stands.

The $22-million “Y” is expected to open in 2015.
