Boone County prosecutors have issued a search warrant for the Facebook records of an Ogden woman killed last October.

Crews found Jaclyn Powell strangled inside her home the day after authorities believe she died.

Authorities charged her husband, Joshua Powell, with her murder.

The Ames Tribune reports Boone County prosecutors have asked Facebook to preserve records associated with Jaclyn Powell’s account.

According to the Ames Trubune, court records show that on the night of the murder, the couple attended a wedding reception and left the event after getting into an argument.

Search warrants reveal the couple may have been arguing over Facebook conversations that alluded that Jaclyn had been having an affair.

Joshua Powell’s trial is set to begin April 30th in Boone County.
