BED BUGS: Supreme Court To Hear Case

A high profile bed bug case will begin in the Iowa Supreme Court next week.

The case between tenants of Elsie Mason Manor in Des Moines and management company First Baptist Housing Foundation alleges the managers knew about the bed bug infestation for years, but refused to warn tenants or properly treat the problem.

The arguments will be heard before a judge Tuesday at 7 p.m. the special evening session is an attempt by the court to attract more Iowans to watch the judicial process in action.
