EXTRA ENFORCEMENT: Police On The Roads

You may notice more law enforcement on the roads, Wednesday.

Metro police departments are having a special enforcement project to look for speeders, seat belt violators and drivers making illegal right hand turns.

The enforcement will concentrate on West Des Moines, near the Highway 5 bypass and on Interstate 235 near 50th street.

The project runs from 8 a.m. until noon.
