SERVICE RETURNS: New Medical Helicopter

Mercy North in Mason City resumes air-med transportation Tuesday for the first time since a fatal crash last month.

On January 2nd the hospital’s medical chopper crashed near the town of Ventura.

All three people on board, a nurse, a paramedic and the pilot were killed.

The NTSB is still investigating the cause of the crash. An initial report shows icy weather may have played a role.
