RECORD PROFIT: Deere Starts First Quarter Strong

Deere and Company announced Wednesday they had another record first quarter.

The Moline based manufacturer posted a profit of $650 million, which comes out to $1.65 per share. Worldwide net sales and revenues are up ten percent compared to last year.

This is the eleventh consecutive quarter of record earnings for the company. Chairman and CEO Samuel Allen expects the announcement to set the stage for another successful year.
