TECHEL TRIAL: Husband Accused Of Shooting Wife

The murder trial for a southeast Iowa man accused of killing his pregnant wife is scheduled to begin next week.

Seth Techel is charged with first degree murder and non-consensual termination of a human pregnancy. Authorities believe Techel shot Lisa Techel at their home near Agency last May.

Techel has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lisa was a reserve deputy with the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office prior to her death.
