DRAKE BASKETBALL: Hoops For Hope

It’s been a rough season for the Drake women and first year coach Jennie Baranczyk.  The Bulldogs are just 7 and 16 overall, 2 and 10 in the Valley.

Saturday, hosting Missouri State, Drake wore pink  in the Hoops for Hope game to support the fight against cancer. There was also early hope for Drake.

The Dogs show a lot of bark early, Kyndal Clark to Carly Grenfell giving them an early 7-0 lead for Drake.

Next two attacks keep the points rolling in,  Bulldogs jump out to a 13-0 lead.

They were able to consolidate their lead and eventually win, 75-64.
