CAR PINNED: Police Still Investigating

Urbandale police are still investigating a crash that sent a woman to the hospital Saturday night.

Police say the woman somehow ran into the back of a semi while driving on Interstate 80-35 near the Douglas Avenue entrance ramp. The car was wedged under the trailer taking authorities several hours to clear the debris.

The female driver, 30-year-old Tara Leitzinger of Johnston, was taken to Methodist Medical Center with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation Sunday.
