Florida Senator Marco Rubio, a man already considered a possible 2016 presidential candidate, gave one of the biggest speeches of his life last Tuesday. He delivered the Republicans’ response to President Obama’s State of the Union Address. But a dry mouth plagued Rubio during his time before a live audience. Here’s the video.

Rubio awkwardly reached for a small water bottle while trying to maintain his contact with the camera and TelePrompter. The moment made him a target for a Saturday Night Live skit. Here’s the SNL video. But it’s possible Rubio will get the last laugh from his gaffe.

Buzzfeed reports Rubio has raised nearly $100,000 for his political action committee selling, of course, water bottles.
